Easy Cooking with Clara Ole: Creamy Bacon, Cheese, and Mushroom Pasta

Today I woke up with an unexpected burst of energy (considering how I came from night shift! Aack!) and decided that today, I was going to (again) try to make pasta – after my failed attempt at it yesterday. Introducing, the super easy peasy recipe to making Creamy Bacon, Cheese, and Mushroom Pasta using my favorite pre-made Clara Ole sauce, Bechamel!

Things you will need:

  1. Clara Ole Bechamel Sauce (250g Pack)
  2. Pasta
  3. Mushrooms (1 can)
  4. Bacon (150g)
  5. Cheese (I used Eden Quickmelt and Grated Parmesan)
  6. Olive oil
  7. Salt and Pepper

Let’s start cooking!

  1. Boil some water. Add salt for flavor and oil to keep the pasta from sticking together while they cook. Once boiling, add the pasta.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, go ahead and prepare the rest of your ingredients. Cut the bacon up into bite sized pieces, drain the mushrooms, and cut your cheese (Eden Quickmelt) into cubes.
  3. In another pan, sautée the bacon with a little bit of oil. Once golden brown, add the mushrooms. Add salt and pepper to taste. Continue to cook until the mushrooms are fork tender.
  4. Drain the pasta. Save some of that pasta water. Add the pasta to the pan with bacon and mushrooms.
  5. Open the Clara Ole Bechamel Sauce. Pour over the bacon, mushroom, and pasta. Mix well. Add pasta water as necessary to thin out the sauce.
  6. Plate and garnish with parmesan. Lastly, take photos and don’t forget to enjoy!
