Tried the L’Oréal Ultralights and walked out with Golden Blonde Hair #HairGoals

We’ve all heard off “A woman’s hair is her crowning glory”, but did you know that a woman’s hair can also be her source of power and confidence?

A few days ago I attended the launch of Watsons PH latest campaign, #HairGoals, a campaign aimed to raising awareness that it is okay to style and have fun your hair without fearing the damage! Filipinas are proven to be very bold and experimental when it comes to trying out new haircuts (Hello! We all knew someone who underwent a post-breakup haircut! LOL!) but tend to think twice when it comes to hair coloring! I admit, I was 23 years old when I got hair dyed for the first time! It felt really liberating, but all I kept thinking was, “Oh no! Damaged hair!”  Hair treatments? Okay! But we see it as fixes to already damaged hair rather than a preventive measure! See how this works in our country?

Watsons is here to help women achieve their #Hairgoals with a wide selection of hair care products from color to treatment. Got that hair color you’ve always wanted? Watsons say “Go for it!” Play around with different shades of red (hot to fiery), browns (subtle to striking), blonde (sexy to bombshell), and pastel color (fun to out-of-this-world)! Watsons has products like Revlon, Revia, Bigen, Liese, Kolours, Beautylabo, LOreal Excellence, Naturtint and Lolane, to make your hair color dreams come true. I’ve always wanted to get pink hair (already achieved my dream of getting rainbow hair) and I am so happy to hear that Watsons now carries brands like Lola which has Pixxel Color Cream (in Ash, Purple, and Pink Pastel!)

The event also gave us the chance to get our hair colored. I decided to keep my hair color light (my previous was a Light Golden Ash Blonde) My roots (poverty line! LOL) were showing and it was all just perfect timing! Here I am posing with my chosen hair color, the L’Oréal Excellence Fashion Ultralights in 02 Ultra Light Golden Brown! It is my first time to use the Ultralights line – which promises to give you two to three shades lighter hair in just 30 minutes.

And here is a before and after! I was so amazed with the Ultralights because even though my hair was technically already light to begin with, my roots weren’t (I have natural black hair!) and the Ultralights was able to transform the black into my desired golden blonde color in just a matter of 15 minutes! Wow! The Ultralights line has several shades recommended for every Filipina skin tone, so if you’re planning to switch up your hair color, I suggest you go and look for yours now!

Having healthy, good-looking hair unlocks that vibe of confidence. Watsons, with an
extensive line of hair color, styling, and treatment products available in-store, makes your #Hairgoals happen.

P.S. Here’s your chance to finally plunge into hair coloring! May 26 is Color Your Hair Day! Get 50% off on participating Hair Color products for 100% awesome looks.
